Okay, so I got a Dreamwidth code (thank you, code donor!) and have set up an account in a very preliminary way. Same account name as here. There's no content over there yet, not even a profile. I'll get it up and running in a more real way when I have a minute ...

I suspect I'll upgrade to a paid account because it's a nice thing to do, but we'll see.

I currently have nearly two years of paid LJ time (yeah, great timing or what), and I'm the most change-averse person in the world, so it's unlikely that I will leave here until it reaches the point where all my friends are posting mainly on Dreamwidth. However, it seems like that time will inevitably come, so at least I'm ready.
