So, I have eleven full or partial Bibles in my house, in three different languages. Not one single one of them is the version that I need for my introductory New Testament course. Evidently I will have to have twelve.

Admittedly, five of the eleven are the King James Version. (Why do I have *five* KJVs? I dunno. Circumstance.)

Sorry for the extended silence, by the way. I had a rough week or so. But I'll be back with more substantial posts soon, I hope.

Given what I understand about Bible translation, I wouldn't be surprised if you have more than 12 by the end of your studies.

Actually, I think the NRSV is pretty much the standard for Anglican use at this point, and since I have a full Hebrew Old Testament and Greek New Testament already, I may be set for a while. Though the NRSV I picked up today is kind of ugly, so I might want a nicer one at some point, and of course my original-language ones may not have the best annotations.
